I’ve been working on an ambitious B2B bot (in private beta now, going to wider private beta tomorrow).

One thing I’ve learned is that a lot of what makes a bot useful is the “meta” stuff around how it manages the interactions with users. There’s a lot of “meta” stuff I’m having to rethink. For example: With a bot, unlike email, you need to be mindful of when you send messages (should be based on the user’s timezone, not the bot’s).
